Meet the Instructors

Eddie & Sam Farnham
SEACT Youth Camp Founders
Eddie & Sam Farnham have been involved with SEACT as actors and directors since 1992, and teaching the next generation of theatre-lovers for at least that long. They have directed multiple main-stage youth performances including The Little Mermaid Jr., Shrek Jr., and Aladdin Jr. Each summer the duo write and direct an original children's script for SEACT's Dothan summer campers. These clever but silly plays are intended to allow for multiple characters (everyone gets a role!), and lots of action on the part of our enthusiastic stars.

Margo Wright
Summer Camp Youth Instructor
Margo Wright has been interested in theatre since she was 7 years old. She started taking private acting lessons at the age of 10, and studied acting at Furman University. When Margo moved to Dothan in the early 80's, she became involved with SEACT as an actor and director. Margo has directed 3 of SEACT’s main-stage youth productions including The Little Mermaid Jr. (co-directed), Alice in Wonderland Jr., and this season's Mary Poppins Jr. (co-directed). Margo works with the older campers ages 10+ on character development and teamwork to present the final production to parents and friends.

Abigail Phillips
Virtual Summer Youth Theatre Camps
Abigail Phillips has been interested in theatre since she was 6 years old. She started as a camper at SEACT Summer Theatre Camps at the age of 7, became a Camp Counselor at the age of 13, and began directing off-site camps in 2018. She is currently a Senior at Young Harris College, in Ga., studying Musical Theatre. Abigail has been involved in 4 SEACT youth productions, and performed with 9 different theatre companies in Alabama and Georgia. She was awarded Best Director at the Alabama Youth Theatre Experience in 2017. This is her 6th year directing youth with SEACT.
