Jenni Caruso has been immersed in the world of Theatre since the age of 7.  She has a BFA in Theatre Performance from Auburn University.  As well as acting, singing and dancing, Jenni loves directing and choreographing and improvising.  She has been a member of Laughing Matters, Jazz Hands Across America, Gorgeous Ladies of Comedy and the Wizards of Odd. Jenni has also been teaching Theatre and Dance to students in K-12 for 20 years.  Her One Act and Literary students were Region 3AAA Champions 4 years in a row.  She loves fostering a love of Theatre in students and creating an inclusive atmosphere, where they feel free to fail and succeed gloriously.  Currently, Jenni is the co-founder of Conyers-Rockdale Creative Kids.  She and her partner work to bring the Performing Arts to life for homeschooled and traditionally schooled children.

Dan LaRocque joined Auburn University Theatre in 1990 as an acting, voice, and movement teacher and has directed or performed in over 50 Auburn Theatre productions since then. Professor LaRocque served as the associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Liberal Arts from 2011-2013, and as chair and artistic director of AU Theatre from 2005-2011. He also served as a member of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival National Executive Committee in Washington, D.C. from 2003-2009, earning the KCACTF gold medallion for excellence in college and university theatre in 2007. LaRocque's professional acting credits include appearances in theaters throughout the country including San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, Houston's Alley Theatre, Richmond's Theatre Virginia, and the Utah, North Carolina, Illinois, and Alabama Shakespeare Festivals. In England, he appeared at Alan Ayckbourn's acclaimed Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round, and his New York credits include appearances on All My Children and Guiding Light. Dan’s one-act play Man Woman Flower has been produced professionally in New York and Los Angeles; and it continues to enjoy an extensive amount of amateur production activity nationally and internationally. LaRocque was the 2015 recipient of the Alabama Theatre Hall of Fame Award for Outstanding Pioneers in Alabama Theatre, and a 2016 recipient of Auburn’s Gerald and Emily Leischuck Endowed Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Aaron Thomas Moore is a singer, actor, choreographer and director who grew up right here in the panhandle of Florida.  He is an alumnus of Chipola College theatre and show choir and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Valdosta State University.

Aaron has spent many years working not only in theatre, but also in nonprofit work with large churches and other organizations, creating programs and opportunities for the next generation to experience the arts in unique ways.  He’s traveled the world teaching and training others in multiple areas of performing arts and public outreach.

While growing up, Aaron always had a passion for the stage and performance.  He was raised in a musical family where he learned to sing at a very young age and taught himself many skills such as ventriloquism and puppetry, which he has used many times later in his professional career.  This passion drove him to pursue training and education in the field of performing arts, where he continues to further his education as he is now working towards his Masters in Theatre. 

Aaron has had an exciting career in theatre performance work, choreography, directing and, most recently, working as a Principal Vocalist for Norwegian Cruise Lines for the past four years.  He’s thrilled to now be back in the Panhandle at Chipola College on staff in the Fine and Performing Arts department.  He is looking forward to pouring back into the community that poured into him many years ago.

Jameka was a principal dancer for 9 seasons with Alabama Dance Works Professional Company. She was also an assistant coach for the Onyx Stars Dance Center. She is currently the Director of Dance at Northview Christian Church and has been a part of this ministry for sixteen years now. Also, she is the Coordinator for Northview Christian Church Children's Ministry: Kids On Course. She has choreographed for Be U: Beautifully Unique non-profit, local cheerleading teams and organizations, Houston Academy's Show Choir, Dothan Preparatory Academy's Show Choir, Southeast Alabama Community Theatre Productions, and the 2022 Debutante Ball. Having a love for musical theatre has awarded me opportunities to participate in many shows. Dancing professionally has earned her opportunities to perform at Jazz on Tap, The Alabama Dance Festivals, Catharsis Series, and The Impact Project. She enjoys teaching for Dothan School of Dance, Alabama Dance Works, the BEYONDance Outreach Program where she's the Outreach Director. Jameka is looking forward to what the arts bring her in the near future.

Jennifer Permenter, mezzo soprano has over 30 years experience in performing and teaching. She performed on many different stages in various genres in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and Israel. As a teacher, she maintained a private studio with as many as 30 students at times, many of them performing and auditioning as well. She was also a choral conductor and often conducted small orchestras that accompanied them. Being fluent in German and conversational in Italian, she is able to assist in learning pronunciation and understanding of foreign language songs. She has a vast repertoire in classical and sacred music as well as musical theatre. Her musical theatre experience began early on with roles such as Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man and Sister Mary Hubert in Nunsense. She performed the role of Liza in the premiere of a modern German musical, Herz aus Stahl. Her stint into the world of theatre earned her the Louisiana Tech “Tony” Award for the role of Ma Joad in The Grapes of Wrath.

She currently resides in Dothan, Alabama where she is a voice instructor at Renaissance School of Music and loves helping students find their voice and gain confidence on the stage. She continues to sing locally and returns to Germany once a year for workshops and concerts.

Cam Williams is proud to call Alabama home. He graduated from Troy University with a B.S.E. in Theatre Education p-12. He has worked with the Johnson Center for the Arts and Troy University for Arts Education-based programming for young artists. He taught high school theatre with Troy City Schools briefly after college. Most recently, he’s worked with Live and in Color on a workshop production of a brand-new musical titled With Bells On (CT), and its NYC premiere at The Green Room 42. For the past two seasons, Cam has worked with the producing team at Alabama Shakespeare Festival as Artistic Coordinator. This fall Cam will be directing a production of The Taming of the Shrew as part of ASF's Shakespeare in our Schools Initiative: The 2023 Fall Festival of Shakespeare. He is passionate about the performing arts and creating avenues for access for younger people who wish to pursue this art medium.
